The Romney Marsh is a mysterious region of Kent, rich in history and legend. We’ll visit one of the medieval church's that pepper the marsh as well as the peculiar landscape of Dungeness – the UK’s only desert, where old railway carriages were first dragged across the shingle nearly a hundred years ago. Lunch of Fish & Chips at the legendary Pilot is included as well as a slice and hot drink. After lunch we drive via Camber Sands to Rye for a spot of shopping or tea before heading home.
