RAT - Real Ale Train

The famous Real Ale Train, or RAT as it is affectionately known, returns to the Mid Hants Railway in 2024 to continue its tradition of serving real ale from the bar car whilst travelling by train through the Hampshire countryside. Price includes a free pint and any other pint’s drunk are just £4.50. Food will be available on the train which completes two return trips of the line from Alton to Alresford and back.
The train journey starts at 7.30pm and finishes at 10.30pm so our arrival back home will be after midnight.
